Welcome to Friday Flat, Bar & Bistro—one of Thredbo's most beloved cafes, perfectly situated at 2C Friday Dr, just steps away from the slopes. This vibrant spot is the ultimate retreat for skiers and snowboarders looking to unwind after a day on the mountain or for anyone craving a delightful meal in a charming atmosphere.

Friday Flat proudly offers a diverse menu that caters to a variety of tastes. Whether you’re raising a glass of Zilzie Btw Prosecco for a refreshing toast or savoring a Hesketh Pinot Noir while relaxing by the warm ambiance, the drink selection is sure to please. The café also features a well-curated beer list, with options like Balter Captain Sensible and Asahi 0.0 for those who are looking for a crisp refreshment after a long day in the cold.

The atmosphere is lively yet cozy, making it a fantastic place to catch up with friends. While the decor embraces a rustic mountain charm, the service is fast-paced and accommodating—ready to ensure your experience is nothing short of pleasant. The staff here are known for their warm smiles and attentiveness, keeping the spirit high even during peak season.

As for the food, Friday Flat does not disappoint! Indulge in hearty options like the butter chicken that diners rave about—a truly comforting choice to warm you up. While some reviews mention variations in service, the overall consensus celebrates the quality and taste of the dishes. For those who are particularly hungry, however, it is wise to check on portion sizes as experiences can differ; one patron, for instance, noted the high price for a burger and chips. Nonetheless, your taste buds will undoubtedly thank you for choosing this little gem.

It’s also important to note that due to its prime location, Friday Flat can get busy, especially during the ski season. This bustling vibe contributes to its charm, and while a few guests have mentioned cleanliness concerns, the overall organization and efficiency of the team have been praised. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by crowds, simply grab your food to-go and enjoy a picturesque meal in the fresh mountain air.

With such a dedicated following, Friday Flat is more than just a place to eat—it's a community hub that embodies the spirit of Thredbo. Whether you are here to warm up with a hot drink, enjoy a sumptuous meal, or simply take in the stunning views, this bar and bistro is a must-visit destination that should be on every traveler’s list. Remember, supporting local establishments helps maintain the vibrant community here in the mountains. So stop by, relax, and allow Friday Flat to be a part of your Thredbo experience!

Great place to commence the Thredbo experience. Obviously gets busy due to being one of the closest bar/bistros to Friday Flats. Food is well prepared and varied. Drinks are plentiful. You do pay a little extra, due to the conditions and logistics of getting supplies up to Thredbo, so take that into consideration when planning your trip and holiday. But you must support the local establishments!

Great place to just chill after skiing or waiting for friends. Just dont buy the food $30 for a cold Burger and chips.

Considering how busy this place gets. The management and team keep it clean and well organised. Always served with a smile and quick. The only negative thing I could say is they don’t have lactose free milk available which is disappointing. But a lovely spot to defrost and enjoy a cup of tea and absorbing yourself in the brilliant views

I suppose the place is very crowded due to the season, and the service on the floor is very poor. You have to clean the tables; they're always dirty. The space is spacious, but it's always full. It's a good place to wait for your friends or have a good shot to warm up and start enjoying the mountains.

For a slope side grab and go type spot, it's got really great food. Had the butter chicken, and it was so tasty
